Steps

1. Completely saturate the hair with warm water.
2. Apply Clever Curl Cleanser Shampoo to your palms and distribute through the scalp and hair.
3. Gently massage the scalp with your fingertips to lift product residue, excess oils and environmental buildup.
4. Add more warm water and allow the Cleanser to flow through the lengths and ends, gently scrunching as you go.
5. Rinse thoroughly, then repeat the cleansing process for a more thorough scalp and hair cleanse.
6. After the final rinse, keep the hair thoroughly saturated. Apply Clever Curl Rich Conditioner to the ends first, then work through the mid lengths and glaze any remaining conditioner over the hair.
7. Distribute evenly using a wet brush, roping or the squish to condish technique.
8. Rinse thoroughly. A small amount of Rich Conditioner can remain if your curls need additional conditioning.

Method 1: Wonderfoam for softer, flexible definition

1. Apply 1–2 pumps of Clever Curl Wonderfoam to wet palms.
2. Distribute evenly through wet hair using praying hands, finger raking or a wet brush.
3. Scrunch the curls upwards to encourage definition, bounce and volume.
4. Leave Wonderfoam in and allow the hair to air dry, plop or diffuse.

Method 2: Wonderfoam + Dry Weather Gel for stronger hold

1. Apply 1–2 pumps of Wonderfoam evenly through wet hair and scrunch upwards.
2. While the hair is still wet, apply Clever Curl Dry Weather Curl Gel using praying hands, finger raking or a wet brush.
3. Scrunch upwards to encourage curl shape and definition.
4. Allow the Dry Weather Gel to form a cast while the hair dries completely. Air dry or diffuse using low heat.
5. Once the hair and gel cast are 100% dry, gently scrunch the curls to break the cast and reveal softer, bouncy and defined curls.
