Steps

1. Completely saturate the hair with warm water.
2. Apply Clever Curl Cleanser Shampoo to your palms and distribute through the scalp and hair.
3. Gently massage the scalp with your fingertips to lift product residue, excess oils and environmental buildup.
4. Add more warm water and allow the Cleanser to flow through the lengths and ends, gently scrunching as you go.
5. Rinse thoroughly, then repeat the cleansing process for a more thorough scalp cleanse.
6. After the final rinse, keep the hair thoroughly wet and saturated before conditioning.

Method 1: Regular conditioning with Rich Conditioner

1. Apply Clever Curl Rich Conditioner to the ends first, then work through the mid lengths. Glaze any remaining conditioner over the hair.
2. Distribute evenly using a wet brush, roping or squish to condish technique.
3. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. A small amount can remain in the hair when additional conditioning is desired.
4. For leave in use, apply a small amount through wet hair using raking or praying hands, then gently scrunch upwards to encourage the natural curl pattern.

Method 2: Deeper conditioning with Curl Treatment

1. After cleansing, apply Clever Curl Curl Treatment to the ends first, then work through the mid lengths of thoroughly saturated hair.
2. Distribute evenly using a wet brush, roping or squish to condish technique.
3. Leave the treatment in for up to 10 minutes. A hair steamer or cap can be used during this time if desired.
4. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. A small amount can remain in the hair if additional conditioning is desired.
5. For leave in use, apply a smaller amount through wet hair using praying hands, finger raking or a wet brush, then gently scrunch upwards.

Styling with Wonderfoam

1. Start with 1–2 pumps of Clever Curl Wonderfoam in wet palms.
2. Apply evenly through wet hair using praying hands, finger raking or a wet brush.
3. Scrunch the curls upwards to encourage natural definition and volume.
4. Leave Wonderfoam in and allow the hair to air dry, plop or diffuse.
5. For stronger curl definition and additional hold, apply Clever Curl Curl Gel over Wonderfoam before drying.

Use Rich Conditioner for your regular conditioning routine and introduce Curl Treatment when your curls need more intensive conditioning. Keep the hair thoroughly saturated when applying either product and concentrate the initial application through the ends and mid lengths. If using Rich Conditioner or Curl Treatment as a leave in, start with a smaller amount and add more only where needed. Finish with Wonderfoam on thoroughly wet hair, starting with 1–2 pumps for lightweight definition, bounce and flexible hold.
